Begbrooke

BEGBROOKE, a parish in the hundred of Wootton, in the county of Oxford, 3 miles to the S.E. of Woodstock. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Oxford, value £170, in the patronage of the Principal and Fellows of Brazenose College, Oxford. The church, which is partly in the Norman style, is dedicated to St. Michael.
