BURCOTT, a hamlet in the parish and hundred of Dorchester, in the county of Oxford, 4 miles to the E. of Abingdon. It is pleasantly seated on the banks of the Thames, near the Oxford branch of the Great Western railway. There are some charities of trifling value.
